AI notification summary updates.
The iOS 18.3 release adds various changes to Apple Intelligence notification summaries. You can opt in to get these alerts again.
The Summarize Notification menu has the phrases “Summaries may contain errors” highlighted in red.
The update additionally italicizes AI notification summaries on your Lock Screen to set them out from other alerts. You can also disable AI notification summaries for certain applications from your Lock Screen by gently swiping left on the notification, selecting Options, and then turning off Summaries.
